Wind direction by logger-program period
Each station's record is split where the RECORD counter resets (program loads). The 30-ft rotation in each period is compared with three states of the logger code, using the measured offset W: no correction code (180 − W), the sign-flipped line (dir + 180 − W, leaving 360 − 2W), or correct code / aligned sensor (0). “via 10-ft” = measured against the 10-ft sensor where airports had too few usable days. Proposed corrections are in proposed_direction_corrections.yaml.
